Japanese Beetles

Japanese beetles feed off of a wide variety of plants. The beetles are usually in groups and can cause a lot of damage to your plants. They are the most destructive from late June to early September. Luckily, these beetles are not difficult to get rid of. One of the easiest methods of removal is to spray a solution of water and dish soap on the beetles. This causes them to fall off the plant and become food for other animals such as birds. Neem oil is another non-toxic solution that can be applied directly to your plants.
