Description: The Liberty Hosta is considered by many to be the finest hosta ever introduced. It is a medium sized hosta that has a dark green leaves with a wide golden yellow margin that changes to cream in the summer and stems producing lavender colored flowers. The lavender flowers of this fast growing hosta bloom in late summer, however, hostas are not known for their flowers. Liberty needs to be planted in a full shade area in any moist, well-drained spot. Liberty is one of the best variegated slug resistant hosta’s. This low care perennial is ideal for shady positions, tubs and patio pots, and is one of the most popular landscape plants.
