Verbena, Silver Anne Pink
Description: 'Silver Anne Pink' Verbena, is an upright spreading perennial producing dense spikes of bright pink, sweetly scented flowers. It blooms summer to fall amid rigid, lance shaped foliage. Drought tolerant, it is ideal for borders, mass plantings and rock gardens. This vigorous tender perennial is a fast growing bedding plant that's ideal for sunny beds and borders and has been shown to perform well where summers are cool. It has a mounding to spreading habit, is densely branched and has frilly deep green leaves. This low growing herbaceous perennial can be planted in any humus rich and fertile well drained garden soil in full sun at the front of the border where it can be appreciated. If planted in too much shade it will quickly become leggy and cease to flower. Cut back in autumn and divide tired clumps to propagate; mulch occasionally.
